Tod Bloxham is an outdoor adventurist who uses photography as a way to share with others the surreal and magical outdoor wonders he has grown to love. Having spent most of his life in pursuit of long trails, remote mountain peaks, and rugged backcountry destinations, Tod's images offer a unique perspective seldom seen by others.

Born and raised in Washington State, Tod had lugged his cameras over 500 miles of North Cascades trails and backcountry by the early age of 18; little did he know that these trips and early photographs would turn into a lifetime passion. Upon graduating from high school Tod set out to hike and photograph the Pacific Crest Trail from Canada to Mexico. 146 days, 2,700 miles and 700 photographs later Tod became the youngest person to solo thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail. Ever since that remarkable trip, Tod's passion for the outdoors and outdoor photography has exploded.

While working in the specialty outdoor industry Tod continued to hone his photography skills. Hundreds of days and nights were spent in the remote reaches of the Washington North Cascades, Coast Mountains of Canada, the Rockies, the Sierra Nevada, and the deep canyons of the Snake and Colorado Rivers. While in these remote reaches Tod was able to capture unique images of climbing, hiking, backcountry skiing, and rafting in seasons and weather ranging from beautiful summer sunsets to harsh winter storms.

After years of photographing outdoor scenery and adventure, thousands of images on file, and many images commercially published, Tod established Bloxham Photography in January of 2001. As of 2011, Bloxham Photography has over 10,000 images on file, 10% of which are available online for stock photography. Tod has continued to build his stock archives and now offers select Special Edition Fine Art Images on his Bloxham Photography website. His pursuits of outdoor adventure and photographs are never ending and simply put, Tod will continue to create images he feels portray and deliver the emotion of the moment. - "adventure.discovery.passion"
